Alpha 0.1.2 is a prose and onboarding update. It rewrites the opening sequence and Eva's first greeting so the game reads more like a person thinking and less like a rough draft trying to sound important.
What's New
- The intro sequence has been rewritten. The first 15 intro passages now use clearer, more direct prose with a stronger MC voice.
- The gender confirmation and name entry flow is faster. These early setup steps are shorter and more functional.
- A default name is now pre-filled. New players can keep the suggested name or replace it.
- The opening city conversation has better pacing. The overheard job conversation now lands more cleanly and gives the same useful information with less clutter.
- The intro now ends with a clearer gameplay hint. New players get a nudge toward visiting locations and talking to people.
Story and Character Content
- Eva's first greeting has been rewritten. Her opening conversation now reads more naturally and uses character portraits for dialogue.
- The phone and wallet reveal is clearer. Eva now learns about the missing phone and wallet in a more natural order, and the MC no longer references them before discovering the problem.
- Eva's dialogue is less fragmented. Lines that were split awkwardly across multiple blocks now read like actual speech.
- One early response choice has more personality. The opening conversation now gives the MC a sharper reply option and a matching Eva reaction.
Quality of Life
- The opening route is easier to skim. Overwritten metaphor, repeated fragments, and unclear emotional narration were cut back.
- The MC voice is more direct. The narrator should now feel drier, more practical, and easier to follow from the first screen.
- Future prose has a clearer quality bar. The update establishes the writing direction used by later revisions.
